Working with Dave was phenomenal experience, especially as a first-time buyer.
When I had questions, and there were many, Dave had quick, detailed answers. Sugar-coating things is not his way, and I appreciate that. What made me almost instantly comfortable working with Dave is how, above all, he made it immediately apparent that he wanted me in a place where I could see myself and reasonably expect to be happy. There was never a hard sell or pressure of any kind. On top of all that, Dave is simultaneously honest and optimistic. The second time we went to look at properties was a Thursday that ended up being as fruitless as our first trip. Rather than let me be enchanted by shiny objects, Dave was quick to point out concerns he had and steer me clear of what I quickly realized would have been poor decisions had I pursued lesser properties. Even though I felt a little deflated after that second trip, the next day a bunch of other properties suddenly popped up. I was ready to go to a few open houses that Saturday, but Dave both worked his magic to line up a half dozen showings and then rearranged his schedule so he could be there, too. In a nutshell, Dave's communicative, buyer-focused, honest, optimistic, and available to his clients. I don't know that I could have asked for anything more when buying the house in which I am currently living. If you have a chance to work with him, do so without hesitation. Should I ever find myself looking to move again, Dave will be my first call.
